About the Job

The Role

Alchemy's docs have evolved into a source of truth for anyone operating in the Web3 space. We’re on a mission to build the most comprehensive, user-friendly, and helpful documentation that exists for Web3 builders. As the developer advocate on the docs team at Alchemy, you will directly contribute to the documentation platform by building, writing, and testing documentation. You will become the industry expert for all web3 APIs, knowing when and how to use each of them across all supported chains. You’ll work cross functionally with engineering, product managers, technical writers, designers, and speak directly with users to collect feedback, understand use cases, build out starter code, and implement changes. You'll be proficient in both quantitive and qualitative analysis to measure the success of Alchemy's documentation overall.

  • Write new and maintain existing OpenAPI specs for all API references
  • Become an expert on all web3 APIs
  • Build out starter code for API methods and web3 use cases
  • QA test all components of docs to ensure they are user-friendly
  • Work with engineering, product, education, and customer success teams to document new features, products, and APIs in real-time
  • Collect user feedback on documentation and implement changes accordingly
  • Suggest both low and high level changes in navigation, structure, and design
  • Analyze quantitative success metrics by looking at SEO, google analytics, and other platforms
  • Implement systems and build tools that make it easy to publish and update existing documentation
  • Build new features within docs to enhance external user experience
  • Represent a developer's perspective internally to ensure Alchemy’s documentation, APIs, SDKs, tutorials and other resources meet developer needs
  • Provide product roadmap suggestions based off user feedback
