Job Summary: Fortress is looking for a Financial Analyst to be an early member of our team helping to drive data forward!
As a part of this role you will support our finance operations team to reconcile assets held for our customers, along with trades that occur on our platform. You will help teams understand profitability for the different lines of business, and forecast revenue for the company. You will also be responsible for supporting the quarterly regulatory filings.

Responsibilities:

• Create dashboards to help the financial operations team.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve trade-related issues.
• Generate ideas for exploratory analysis to evaluate financial performance.
• Create the reports necessary for regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across disciplines such as product, engineering, and operations.
• Present findings to senior leadership to drive product decisions.
• Communicate analysis and decisions to high-level stakeholders and executives in verbal, visual, and written formats.

• Proficiency with advanced SQL.
• Experience with data modeling.
• Experience with tools like Looker, Segment, Heap.
• The ability to present complex topics in a concise and actionable manner.
• Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to trade and asset reconciliation
• The ability to manage stakeholder expectations and help with design, development and delivery of data products.
• The ability to facilitate cross-functional projects that depend on the contributions of others in a variety of disciplines.
