About the team

The business development team at Cake DeFi is responsible for identifying and expanding the footprints of the company across industries and geographical boundaries. In order to continuously add value to the Cake DeFi platform, the team is always working on improving existing marketing, technical and sales partnerships, and looking for more like-minded and synergistic partners to come on board. This includes sourcing for new brand and promotional activities, as well as token listings and cross-chain initiatives.

Cake DeFi is seeking an experienced and highly skilled BD and Partnerships Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer growth and revenue through the development and execution of strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the crypto and DeFi space. You should have at least 2 years of experience in the crypto industry, including experience in working with crypto exchanges, and establishing strategic partnerships with life>

You will be responsible for managing the partnership process, from initial outreach and negotiations to final campaign execution. If you are a strategic thinker with a strong passion for crypto, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the crypto space, including establishing partnerships with life>
  • Design and execute collaborative campaigns with partners to drive brand awareness and user growth.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition and retention, and revenue growth.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the crypto industry
  • Build and manage relationships with B2B vendors
  • Negotiate on terms and agreements with partners

What you’ll need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the crypto space,
  • Deep understanding of crypto industry
  • In-depth experience with DeFi protocols and NFTs
  • Experience working with B2B vendors
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining partnerships
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
