Blockdaemon is seeking a highly motivated and driven Project Manager for a contract role, reporting to the Programme Director.

Previous experience in agile project management in the SaaS environment is essential. Experience working in the Blockchain industry is an advantage.

As a Project Manager, you will manage and coordinate all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. You will work closely with Product and Engineering leads to ensure we deliver quality products at pace, driving appropriate scope and solution decisions to deliver the outcomes needed to continually drive competitive advantage of our products. You will be responsible for delivering to target dates to support our product roadmap, managing scope, resources and cost while providing first class stakeholder management at all levels of the organization.

In this role you will:

• Own and drive multiple concurrent SaaS projects implementations to go-live
• Work with the project team to scope the required effort and define timelines
• Create project plans, delivery timelines and identify key milestones to track progress and achievements
• Track and communicate project status and budgets using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Keep senior management informed about project progress, issues, risks, dependencies and resource capacity using formal reporting and RAIDD logs, as well as providing adhoc updates as required
• Lead on strategic planning (e.g. quarterly, bi annually) for your project as well as sprint planning to ensure achievement of strategic product objectives, customer requirements and internal project dependencies
• Prioritize project work and delegate responsibilities to team members, raise important issues, provide ongoing status updates and accurately manage expectations
• Support as needed with customer deliverables and resolving incidents where project management support is required
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Find opportunities to improve project management process, documentation and tools across the organization, within IT and the project management team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience managing projects at a technology company specifically involving software development; preferably for a SaaS company
• Familiarity with SaaS implementations, technical integrations, software rollouts
• A natural leader who can engage and motivate engineering and product teams to deliver outcomes in a collaborative way
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate key messages
• A dynamic thinker who ‘thinks outside of the box’ using project and delivery management experience to determine the best approach to get results
• Ability to work in an agile framework while working to target dates and managing stakeholders to ensure confidence levels in estimates are understood and risks to desired delivery dates are clearly communicated
• Have a ‘customer first’ focus, and be flexible in your role scope to solve problems
• A highly-organized and flexible collaborator who enjoys helping team members find creative solutions and do their best work in a fast-paced environment
• A strong multi-tasker who thrives on keeping plans up to date, making sure nothing falls through the cracks, and keeping the project team well-informed

• Knowledge of and comfort with multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall)

Big Plus Skills:

• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence), and other project management software
