Real Estate Investment Analyst Internship (100% Remote)

Robinland is building the next-generation blockchain fintech technology that channels DeFi liquidity to solve Trad-Fi problems for the real estate industry and allows everyone in the world to trade fractional real estate anytime, anywhere. We digitize real estate assets and create a primary & secondary market for real estate crypto tokens, providing liquidity into the real estate industry the world has never seen before. With Robinland, anyone from anywhere in the world can trade real estate properties like they trade stocks on exchanges.

The company was founded by three enthusiastic young professionals who have deep expertise and industry resources in real estate, blockchain, and legal areas.

What you will be doing

We are looking for competitive individuals who possess the energy, enthusiasm, and capacity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You are interested and have passion for the real estate industry and have experience with various financial modeling techniques.

Responsibilities include:

• Create financial models to analyze investment acquisition opportunities and disposition and financing strategies
• Assist with identifying and tracking potential investment acquisition opportunities
• Underwriting new investments through financial modeling and market research,
• Evaluating potential investment partners based on track records, strategies, pipelines, financial and operating structures, and management interviews
• Preparing reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to the Real Estate Investment team
• Research housing trends and economic indicators related to target acquisitions markets
• Collect & review due diligence materials in support of loan requests and underwriting processes
• Build and maintain relationships with commercial real estate brokers and industry specialists to gather information
• Manage and review underwritten analysis and assist in the monitoring of existing investment portfolios
• Assist in all parts of the deal flow process to support the team in accomplishing acquisition target
• Plans, directs, and coordinates acquisition and land development activities for specified markets
• Build and update portfolio management and asset management financial models

Your skills and requirements

• We are looking for applicants with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and/or above and are passionate about startups, the crypto industry, real estate, and the capital market;
• Excellent grades in a four-year US college or university program and entering the final year upon completion of the program, or entering the final year of MBA studies upon completion of the program;
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Mandarin;
• You have a history of academic excellence and strong research, analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills;
• You have relevant prior work experience, and/or internship program;
• You are in a technical discipline such as Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Operations Research, Public Policy, or other related areas.

Compensations

This position will be unpaid to start, but we will offer the opportunity for equity sharing as well as real-life work experience of working with a Start-Up. CPT / OPT / STEM OPT are accepted. After the internship, Robinland will give the qualified candidate a full-time position return offer, and provide H1B sponsorship if needed.
