Position Overview:

SIMBA Chain is looking for a self driven Business Development Representative to help drive sales and account management activity for the company across the emerging Blockchain industry.You will be responsible for owning the early stages of the sales process and establishing customer relationships, by prospecting, and engaging with top teams in the space.

A strong predictor for successwill be evident in a candidate with a keen interest (or experience) in blockchain technology, whohas real world experienceengaging with customers to discern their product and partner-related needs. Candidate should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and willingness to be prompt and responsive to a broad range of customer expectations.

What you’ll be doing at SIMBA:

  • Drive business development, sales, and account management activities; establishing new partnerships and relationships within the blockchain markets
  • Identify opportunities and help develop the sales campaign.
  • Track, analyze, and find ways to improve campaigns and the sales process
  • Develop target lists of potential customers at all levels, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
  • Effectively communicates SIMBA Chain’s unique offering that differentiates our brand within the emerging Blockchain tech space.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of work experience as an SDR, BDR, or related role
  • Experience using Linkedin, Hubspot is a plus
  • 1+ year of sales experience in the software, SAAS, technology startup is required
  • A strong interest in blockchain technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience building partnerships with technology companies and other strategic players
  • Ability to travel for company events and gathering 2x/year in the United States
