  • Prepare periodic financial closing journal entries, schedules, and reconciliations
  • Lead the external audit of the company’s annual financial statements, including preparation of audit schedules and serving as the primary point of contact for auditor questions and requests
  • Develop scalable accounting processes to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Design and implement a robust internal control framework supported by Flexa’s policies & procedures
  • Research and analyze existing and new financial accounting standards applicable to Flexa’s business, such as ASC 606 and any digital asset-specific pronouncements
  • Assist with FP&A function by measuring KPIs, preparing departmental budgets, and monitoring budget-to-actual performance
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business Development, and Legal teams to establish and achieve business goals

You may be a great fit if you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA license preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience in an accounting and/or audit role
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP, FASB, and IASB standards
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage deadlines and responsibilities effectively; ability to multitask and work successfully under pressure
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments
  • Basic knowledge of blockchain technology and the digital asset industry is a plus, but not required
