Strategic Partnerships Manager

Flipside is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to drive our active participation in the crypto communities we serve, identify opportunities for Flipside to help our partners grow, and craft & win proposals to formalize our partnership. Based upon the relationships you develop and your business development skills you will craft, nurture and close deals. You will have a revenue target.

You will be the leader of our Strategic Partnerships team which will include partnership operations. Your team is responsible for developing relationships in leading projects, deepening Flipside’s role within those communities, and helping our blockchain partners thrive. You will partner across Flipside teams, especially Governance and Protocol Advocacy.

This position reports and will work closely with the CEO on partnership deliverables.

What You’ll Do

• Identify opportunities in the market and develop strategies for engagement. Note that this is not a major lead generation / cold calling role; this is a surgical opportunity based position based on a rubric of target customers.

• Work cross-functionally in the org to bring key analyses and materials to market to move deals along

• Shape potential deal structures, build proposals and present opportunities to prospects.

• Identify and build deep relationships with multiple stakeholders across top ecosystem players

• Manage the sales operations organization, ensuring data is effectively tracked and processes between stakeholders are communicated about clearly.

What You Bring

• A proven track record of business development success
• Crypto Knowledge is a must
• Very strong written & analytical skills
• The ability to be an individual contributor, with experience leading and developing a team
• Capability to develop end-to-end proposals with cross-org buy in; ability to manage entire start to finish contract-to-close process
• Ability to understand data structures, technical concepts & processes
