Job purpose:

The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation for Securrency's Blockchain-based products and services. This includes user manuals, technical specifications, and other documents that help users understand and use the product effectively.

In the first three months, expect to:

• Learn the company's products and services and how they are used by customers
• Understand the company's technical documentation standards and processes
• Develop a solid understanding of the company's target audience and how to communicate with them effectively
• Work closely with the product development team to understand the product's features and functionality
• Start writing and editing technical documentation for the company's products and services
• Begin to establish relationships with other teams such as development, QA, and customer support
  
  

• Become proficient in the use of documentation tools and software
• Build a solid foundation of knowledge about the company's products and services and how they are used
• Continue to work closely with the product development team to ensure that documentation is accurate, clear, and in compliance with company standards
• Begin to take on more responsibility for the documentation process
• Participate in product development meetings, gathering information and feedback to improve documentation
• Start to work on training materials and other resources to help users learn how to use the product
  
  

• Be a subject matter expert on the company's products and services
• Be a key contributor to the company's technical documentation process
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for the company's products and services
• Continuously improve documentation based on feedback from other teams and customers
• Act as a liaison between the product development team and other teams such as development, QA and customer support to ensure documentation is aligned with product changes
• Participate in product development meetings, gathering information and feedback to improve documentation and user experience
• Be a key contributor to the company's technical documentation process
• Identify and implement new ways to improve documentation and user experience
  
  

• Work closely with the product development team to understand the product's features and functionality
• Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts
• Develop a deep technical and financial understanding of Securrency blockchain products
• Research and bring an understanding of popular DeFi protocols.
• Work with managers, analytics, and engineers to produce and maintain the technical documentation, user guides and content for social media.
• Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
  
  

• A comprehensive portfolio of related work
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on software documentation
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to transform complex technical decisions into user-friendly documentation and guides
• Ability to work efficiently and multi-task
• Deep knowledge of blockchains (especially Ethereum), EVM, Smart Contracts and DeFi ecosystem, experience with Solidity, JS/TS, and Frontend is a huge bonus
